Returns & Replacement Policy

This Returns & Replacement Policy ("Policy") governs return, replacement, and refund requests for products purchased from Lux Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. (Luxntek) through luxntek.in. By placing an order or submitting a return request, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to eligible products purchased directly from our official website. Warranty claims for manufacturing defects after the return window may be handled separately under our Warranty Policy.

2. Return eligibility windows

  • All eligible returns (change-of-mind, defective, damaged, wrong item, or incomplete delivery): 7 days from the delivery date.
  • Change-of-mind returns are subject to product condition requirements and deductions below. Quality-related returns may require photos, serial numbers, and packaging images.
  • Products must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and invoice copy unless the return is due to transit damage or defect.

3. Non-returnable items

  • Products physically damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorised repair.
  • Products with missing serial numbers, tampered seals, or signs of custom modification.
  • Clearance or specially discounted items marked "non-returnable" at checkout.

4. How to request a return

  1. Log in to My Account → Returns or open the return form from your order.
  2. Select the order, items, and reason. Review the estimated refund breakdown including deductions.
  3. Confirm all mandatory acknowledgements before submitting. You will receive an RMA reference number.
  4. Ship the product only after RMA approval and using the return instructions provided.

5. Refund deductions (disclosed upfront)

Estimated refunds are shown before you submit a request. Final refund amount may be adjusted after warehouse inspection. Applicable deductions may include:

  • Within 24 hours of placing the order: No placement penalty.
  • After 24 hours of placing the order: 10% deduction of invoice value.
  • Forward shipping charges (non-refundable for voluntary returns).
  • Restocking fee: up to 15% of item value for voluntary returns in resalable condition.
  • Inspection / handling charges if packaging or accessories are missing.
  • Other legitimate charges documented with reason (e.g. damaged return packaging).

For quality-related issues (defect, damage in transit, wrong item), restocking fees generally do not apply. Return shipping may be arranged by us or reimbursed as per case assessment.

6. Customer consent & final approval

When you submit a return online, you explicitly consent to this Policy, the displayed deductions, product condition requirements, and original packaging rules. If the final assessed refund differs from the estimate after inspection, we will notify you and require your explicit approval of the final net refund before processing payment.

7. Refund processing timeline

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after product receipt, inspection, and (if applicable) your final refund approval. Bank/payment gateway settlement times may vary.

Always mention your RMA reference number on the outer package. Returns sent without an approved RMA may be refused or delayed.

9. Replacements

Where stock permits, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund for defective or wrong items. Replacements are subject to the same inspection process.
